The methods of movement, breathwork, relaxation, visualisation and affirmation used in the Healthy Back programme are based on Dru Yoga, a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation.
Dru Yoga techniques which have been researched and reported in several clinical trials including:
- Yoga for improving wellbeing and resilience to stress
- Yoga for reducing perceived stress and back pain

Clinical trials with employees have shown that the Healthy Back Programme reduces back pain and while improving wellbeing and resilience to stress.
In a recent study with 150 NHS employees, an 8-week Healthy Back Programme resulted in far fewer sickness days over a 6 month period.
