Prayers for peace

Affirmations and prayers for peace

We have an incredible opportunity to add to the world. Whenever a bomb goes off or a disaster strikes, we all have the power to make a difference.

Today, we are sending healing light to the people of London... and anywhere in the world where people are suffering.

Our prayers for compassion, for healing, for creating unity and empowerment will ripple out and create a world in which we can live together with peace and love. When we touch stillness - or a moment of profound connectedness - our minds become immeasurably powerful.

Please add your prayers and positive thoughts below. We'll be lighting World Peace Flames along with your prayers.

Let us know Peace,
For as long as the Sun will shine,
For as long as the grass shall grow,
For as long as the moon will rise,
For as long as the river shall flow,
Let us know Peace

May we focus on light filling our hearts and minds, even when darkness is all around. Keep affirming "I am filled with light, I am light and I shine forth light" It is time to be vigilant with our own thoughts, what we "consume" and where our energy goes so that peace can be more powerful and "louder" than violence. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.

Love is patient and kind, it is not jealous or coceited or proud, love is not ill mannered or selfish or irritable, love does not keep a record of wrongs, love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.
Love never gives up, and its faith, hope and patience never fail.

Love can be shared. Hate only keeps people alone and isolated. May love, joy and peace be at the centre of every being and may every being love themselves enough to be at peace with their self and the world. Love and happiness to all.

Whenever fear or hate looks to find a place in your body or mind, replace it immediately with courage and a deep, deep love from your heart.

My heart goes out to all the families and friends of the people impacted by the recent attacks in Manchester and London. May you find the strength you need right now to cope with the devastating shock you are all facing, and over time may you find the peace to live a happy and fulfilling life without those you love and have lost in this life.
For the rest of us my hope is for world peace - that we can live happily and peacefully together with 'one planet' mentality.
IMAGINE there's no countries, it isn't hard to do. Nothing to kill or die for, and no religion too. IMAGINE all the people living life in peace. Some may say we are dreamers, but we're not the only ones. I hope some day you will join us and the world will be as one.
Adapted from the beautiful words written by John Lennon in his infamous and so so relevant song IMAGINE.

Love will win...
My heart goes out to my home of Manchester. Many young lives cut short and lots of anger and fear has spread.
I pray for those that are needing comfort, hope , strength and encouragement. I pray that the tears are dried, fears are dispelled and comfort sent from the universe to those in need.
To show courage and feel fearless stand together and be a kingdom United in love & peace.
Om Shanti

May we take comfort in the fact that, although he did not operate alone, it was one person who actually committed this act and there are thousands more who are praying for peace. May all our love, thoughts and prayers be felt by all those who need them. May we stand strong together.

Sending prayers of love and healing to those affected by the Manchester attack last night. May you feel comforted by the compassion and humanity of friends and strangers around the world.

Sending prayers of peace and understanding to those who feel they have no voice. May you realise that violence will never be a solution.

Sending prayers of gratitude to everyone who jumped into action and provided medical assistance, transport, shelter, comfort and anything else that was essential.

In the face of darkness you have chosen to be a LIGHT to others. You made me decide this morning to not only pray, but go out of my way for others more than I might have done otherwise. There is a huge power in POSITIVE ACTION wherever we are.

Om shantih

Today I sat and poured out love and harmony in the early hours of the morning. I've walked through that foyer and can feel the urgency of adding light and stillness, care and unity...

So many people's lives are inspired and uplifted in the Manchester Arena. So many performers on stage give their hearts to their music in their own quests for perfection. May all that energy of inspiration, love, transformation now bring healing and unity to the lives of everyone affected by the events of last night.
