Karma yoga retreat Oct-Nov 2017
Karma Yoga is often understood and translated as the yoga of selfless service, or as the means of achieving freedom through action.
The Bhagavad Gita defines Karma Yoga in two steps:
- Making each action your best offering to the universe
- Welcoming all results of an action as a gift from the Highest, thus neutralising any likes/dislikes from your mind.
Possible Karma Yoga activities will be:-
- Light maintenance/building
- Deep cleaning
- Website / IT support
And there's more ....
We will also make sure that your time here is as nourishing and as rewarding as possible. Therefore we incljde in your programme sessions like:-
- Yoga & relaxation
- Walk and yoga in nature
- Mantra chanting (kirtan)
- Satsang on Bhagavad Gita
And not to forget - your working environment will be in the midst of the stunning scenery of Snowdonia National Park, with beautiful walks and time i nature included!
3pm onwards - arrival and check-in
6.45pm - dinner
8pm - Welcome session (including yoga & relaxation)
1.15pm - lunch

It is really good to experience different teachers. There is always something new to learn.
A wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Taking time out from busy schedules and just pausing to take care of myself and be in the moment. I feel very calm and centred.
I learned so much in my first module of the teacher training about Dru Yoga. I love the graceful, flowing movements and the way my body feels after a Dru yoga session. It is very different from any other style of yoga I have ever done. Your body feels more flexible and energised and your mind feels calm and relaxed. I loved every aspect of the course. It was well delivered with a good mix of theory and practical sessions each day. The books given as part of the course are excellent.
