Pindasana - the Child
Pindasana - the Child pose
This session includes:
- alignment points
- how to move in and out of the pose, including the Circle breath
- modification - stage 1 and 2
you are invited to use pillows for additional support
This pose acts as a great counterpose to many postures. It frees tension from between the shoulder-blades and provides a gentle stretch along the spine.
The Child posture creates a sense of stillness, security and it encourages humility.
This pose creates a restful experience, connecting you to the earth. Visualise yourself as a seed, full of potential waiting to burst! Practise the Circle breath and experience a powerful circle of energy flowing from the base of he spine, over the back and across the base. This helps to strengthen your whole energy field which will calm and soothe the mind and body.
