Ayurveda and Yoga for Self Healing and Personal Awakening

This weekend retreat at Mittagong has been designed to leave you feeling nurtured, informed, relaxed, energised and excited about living a happy, healthy and purposeful lifestyle.

Your main presenters will be Alina Hughes, Senior Dru tutor and Regional Manager for Sydney and Southern Highlands and visiting international tutor Keith Squires, the author of 'Cooking with Love', 

Greg Carlin will be presenting too and will be offering Ayurvedic consultations. Our wonderful catering and support team will ensure that you are nurtured and nourished on every level.

Our visiting international presenter Keith Squires, author of 'Cooking with Love', is passionate about health and cooking and combines his background in nutrition, ayurveda and cookery with over 30 years experience as a vegetarian chef. 

Yoga and Ayurveda are sister sciences rooted in the Vedic tradition of India. While Ayurveda is concerned with healing for both body and mind, yoga in its truest form is the science of awakening to your true Self.

In this 2 day workshop you will:

  • Enjoy cooking and eating delicious vegetarian food ...with love
  • Learn about and identify your ayurvedic doshas (constitution) 
  • Identify when your doshas are in balance and when they are not  
  • Restore balance using Dru yoga, prana and prana-vayu based practices
  • Learn how to rejuvenate and maintain balance through food and lifestyle factors
  • Experience the broader benefits of Dru yoga and how certain potent practices can instantly bring you into alignment on every level of your being
  • Experience deep relaxation and nurturing time for yourself

The tradition of Dinacharya (daily routine) is one of the single most powerful Ayurvedic tools for improving overall health and well-being. A daily routine invites health, vitality, and a sense of clarity into our lives.

Adopting a daily routine that is appropriate for you is undoubtedly one of the most grounding and nurturing things you could do for yourself, and while the concept of having a daily routine is at the heart of an Ayurvedic lifestyle, no single prescription is right for everyone. The general template can and should be adapted to meet the needs of each individual’s constitution and current state of balance. And that’s the beauty of it, because the right daily routine can dramatically improve your life.

 

Cost: $330 for the weekend workshop includes a copy of 'Cooking with Love' signed by Keith Squires. Lunch, morning and afternoon teas are included. DPN and other discounts available.

Personal ayurvedic consultations and individual mentorings will be available at an additional cost.

Cancellations—If you cancel (because of illness or some other unforeseen circumstance) then we give you the option of transferring the event fee to a future Dru Australia course or event or to the purchase of other Dru Australia  services or products.

If we cancel a Dru workshop, we give you the option of the event fee being reimbursed, or transferring it to a future event.
