Your presenters for Module 2
Noelene Francis will once again be leading this module. Noelene has many years' experience with music and with yoga. She began singing in a performing choir as a youth, and then as a professional in a rock band for 16 years before discovering the meeting of sound and yoga with Dru, leading chanting sessions since 2006. Noelene has been a student of yoga since the early 1980s and was one of the first to teach Dru Yoga in Australia, beginning in 1999. She is currently a Director of Dru Australasia and a senior tutor on the Dru Yoga and Meditation teacher trainings and post graduate courses. Noelene was taught the unique Dru Sound techniques by Yamuna Loyal, the originator of the Dru Sound course in North Wales in 2009 and has presented on Sound modules in the UK, pioneering the course in Australia in 2014.
Noelene is excited to be supported once again on this module by Ruth Gent and Frani Wilde, and will be joined by two wonderful Australian Dru Sound and Mantra presenters, Deb Ryan and Sue Goodwin.
> Deb Ryan: is a senior tutor on the Dru Yoga Teacher Training course and Australian PR Manager. Deb regularly leads chanting sessions and has a mantra practice that has hugely supported her during the recent bushfire crisis where she lives in NSW.
> Sue Goodwin: has a Bachelor of Music (Education) and qualifications in the Kodaly method - a unique approach to teaching and learning music. Using the Kodaly approach, Sue has taught classroom music to students from Prep through to Year 12, and music theory to adults. She has also conducted choirs of adults for over 10 years. Sue is now a corporate trainer and teaches Dru Yoga in Brisbane. She still loves singing and strongly believes that everyone can sing. "The voice is our own natural instrument - you sometimes just need a few tips on how to play it!"
On Module 2 we will
> expand on our vocal warmups, deep listening skills, essential breathing exercises, the principles of resonance and entrainment
> discover our own individual resonant tone
> develop a personal practice to help develop the full power in our voice
> explore the art of toning
> and more!

I not only enjoyed it, I loved it! Thank you. It really helped me to feel my core stability muscles. I'm looking forward training them ;-)
If you want to physically strengthen your body and emotionally enhance your mind, Dru Yoga will give you the tools to take into your daily life and help you cope with the stresses of modern living.
Thank you, this was lovely. It was great to have your teaching in my home! Great production also - good picture, good sound, easy to fast forward and great that I could see what was happening as I fast forwarded so I knew when to stop. I also like the way Dru Online is bringing us more specific subjects like this one, that before we have only seen in the workbooks. Thank you.
