22 July, 2020

There is nothing more powerful than transforming your life and the life of others

If you want to experience the deeper side of yoga then join us for a complete immersion into yoga with Dru Yoga training

Dru Yoga is a therapeutic and accessible style of yoga which has many health benefits and is suitable for all ages and levels of experience.

Training as a Dru teacher can lead to many different career paths within the yoga industry including teaching corporate yoga, kids yoga, prenatal yoga, yoga for seniors, yoga for people with disabilities, yoga therapy for specific health conditions and more...

Dru yoga also uses mind/body tools for potent personal transformation, in fact Dru's mind/body tools have even been used for detraumatisation in war zones and with refugees.

Don’t want to teach? That’s OK!

You can choose to do the course to become a teacher or for your own personal development. About one third of our students do the course for their own personal growth and to positively transform their lives.

Even in the early stages of the course you will begin to experience new, higher levels of energy resulting from establishing your own daily yoga practice.  You will also find that you are more relaxed and can cope better with the stresses of everyday life.

Above all, the course can give you a new start to a wonderful period of in-depth learning where you develop personal and professional skills, make new like-minded friendships and delve into an exciting journey of self-discovery!

  • You can start teaching and earning halfway through the course
  • There is a flexible course structure and there are other courses across the globe that you can plug into if you find yourself travelling during the training
  • There are also a variety of payment plans to make the course affordable

The Dru Yoga Teacher Training course will be held at The Brahma Kumaris Centre for Spiritual Learning in Wilton. The centre is a twelve-acre property offering wonderful peaceful facilities that include a balance of landscaped gardens, open grassed areas and natural bushland.

Due to Covid-19 modules 2a and 2b of the course will be held online.

Enjoy a complete yoga immersion in this retreat experience in nature with tasty vegetarian meals and social time to connect with new friends. Between sessions you can peruse the book shop, relax in the gardens, sip tea on the verandah, go for a short bush walk or even hang out in the chai shed.

Expect to see local wild birds and parrots and enjoy the sounds of nature at its best. It is the perfect place to relax, rejuvenate and get away from it all. You can totally rebalance yourself in  nature with yoga, healthy food and nurturing therapies (tbc).

What I'll take from today's yoga postgrad workshop:- Underpinning the true purpose of yoga - to develop a relationship with the Self that exists deeply within.  Loved the relaxations, especially 'Waves of Peace'. The pancha koshas provide us with a road map for better understanding of our psychological and spiritual development.
