Dru Yoga Taster Days Immerse yourself in the great experience of Dru Yoga! These low cost morning, afternoon or day seminars will leave you deeply relaxed and recharged as well as giving you a great overview of how Dru can help you to make the most of your life.

Enhance your wellbeing using the tools from Dru Yoga in this welcoming workshop. Experience the energetic flow of Dru Yoga through gentle sequences. Explore the benefits to body, mind and spirit from the Dru approach using classic yoga postures followed by and enjoyable deep relaxation.

A Taster is an ideal opportunity to meet our Dru Yoga teacher trainers and network with other yoga students and teachers from your local area. Dru Yoga Tasters are held nation-wide as morning, afternoon or day events. On occasions we even open up the first day or so of a Dru Yoga teacher training course for you to try. These days are particularly useful if you are thinking of joining the Dru Yoga Foundation or Teacher Training courses and would like to experience what they're really like.

Our Dru Yoga Tasters are kept at a low cost to enable you to explore Dru more fully - and hopefully come to love it as much as we do!

The format and start time of a Dru Yoga Taster will vary with region, but here's an idea of some of the content you can expect:

  • introduction and session overview
  • warming up and body preparation
  • introducing Energy Block Release Sequences (EBRs)
  • Dru Yoga postures and sequences including benefits and modifications
  • the rejuvenating power of meditation and deep relaxation
  • explore next steps for your yoga: retreats, yoga training courses and local events

Make new friends, chat with your tutors

You'll meet your local tutors, so you can have the chance to ask questions and experience what it might be like to train further with us. There will be many other students, like yourself, coming to try and experience Dru Meditation so you'll also have the opportunity to meet like minded people in your local area.

Our Dru Meditation Tasters are taught by our top international tutors, who teach on Dru Meditation Teacher Training and Foundation courses.

We've deliberately made these taster experiences more or less at cost - so you can easily explore all the benefits of Dru. We also decided not to make them free, quite, because then we find that everyone present is really interested in making a positive contribution to their life. It builds a richer experience for everyone.

Cancellations

If we cancel a Dru Taster, we give you the option of being reimbursed the event fee, or transferring it to a future event. If you cancel (because of illness or some other unforseen circumstance) then we give you the option of transferring the event fee to a future Dru event.

  • Some of our great meditation, yoga and relaxation products will be available to help you take the experience home.
  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start so we can get going on time.
  • Tea and coffee is provided, and if you need a packed lunch or any food please bring it along with you. 
  • Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, bottle of water, notepad and pen.
  • Share the experience - why not bring a friend with you!

Other Dru Yoga and meditation workshops may be available in your area - and if one isn't currently scheduled, our tutors are happy to consider organising an event in your area. Please let us know if you would like further information.
