Prior to course entry

It is helpful, but not essential to start becoming familiar with some practices.

You may like to begin the Dru Meditation Online course. To do this you can sign up online ($45 per month) – with the expectation that you will cancel after you start the training course.  If you are a graduate and a DPN member you receive a discount on Dru Meditation Online.

The cost of Dru Meditation Online is about the same as going to 2 or 3 meditation classes per month, and the material you receive will be immensely valuable as a resource for your own meditation classes.

You may find a Dru teacher conducting weekly classes in your area. Click here for classes. Or you may call the Dru office to purchase a CD of preparatory practises.

At home we ask you to dedicate regular sessions each week to deepen your meditation practice.  In addition around half way through the course, after you've had instruction in the modules, we ask you to submit a lesson planning assignment - a great asset as you begin your meditation teaching.

Record the start dates of all the sessions (days/weekends/modules) in this teacher training course.

If a weekend/module starts in the evening, use that day as the start date.
