Yoga Teacher Training courses in Australasia

Whether you plan to teach yoga, want to practise effectively by yourself at home, or would like to enhance your career as a therapist, the Dru Yoga Teacher Training Course is for you! Whatever your yoga ambitions, you’ll find Dru Yoga an empowering, energising and balancing approach to vitality, health and wellbeing.

Don’t want to teach? That’s OK! You can choose to do this training to become a teacher or for your own personal development. About one third of our students do the course for their own personal growth, knowing that Dru’s deep insights into the body-mind system will make a huge contribution to their lives. Generally, these students find the ‘teacher-training’ aspects of the course very beneficial.

No matter what you will begin to experience new, higher levels of energy resulting from establishing your own daily yoga practice. You will also find that you are more relaxed and can cope better with the stresses of everyday life. Above all, this is the start of a wonderful period of in-depth learning, building personal and professional skills, establishing new friendships and an exciting journey of self-discovery!

We like to make it as easy as possible for you to train as a Dru Yoga teacher. For example, you could recoup some of your fees by starting to teach after an interim assessment, half way through the course. From then, you could cover most of your fees just by gathering a group of 6 friends at home every week, ($12/class) for 3 x 10-week terms a year. You’d then completely cover the remaining fees if you taught 12 people in a hired hall for about 18 months (also in 3 x 10-week terms per year at $14 each per class). A great feeling!

Fee structures:

Option Payment intervals How much Annual equivalent
One Once in three years $8280 $2760 / year
Two Annual $2805 $2805 / year
Four 4-monthly $950 $2850 / year
Five Monthly payments $245 $2940 / year

In addition, a non-refundable deposit of $850 confirms your place. This deposit will offset the final part of your course payments.

These prices are correct for 2017, but may increase with cost increases.

Record the start dates of all the sessions (days/weekends/modules) in this teacher training course.

If a weekend/module starts in the evening, use that day as the start date.
