Soma Masterclass with Senior Dru Yoga and Meditation teacher, Patricia Brown
In this special Master Class we take ourselves into the world of the rishis, the ancient sages of India.
Soma is a key concept in the old traditions of India. It represents everything that is beautiful, friendly and beneficial. Soma is another name for the moon, “Chandra", but also the nectar of immortality that lies dormant within each one of us. It is connected with the water element, endocrine balance and emotional wellbeing.
Throughout your master class we will explore some specific pranayama that activates the diaphragm in all directions and a very beneficial Chandra pranayama. We will use Chandra Namaskar as the vehicle to make Soma tangible at each Kosha level. The whole master class will be built around Soma as a deep kosha experience including the relaxation and meditation.
Patricia is so excited about the opportunity to share this program with you, which one of our senior tutors in Wales has created. Potentially it is the first part of this deep concept which is best given at graduate level. This program is specifically for you but there are aspects that will undoubtedly influence your teaching.
As this master class qualifies as your continuing professional development, there will be 4 CPD points allocated and open to all Dru Yoga graduates, Dru Meditation graduates and Dru Yoga Teacher Training students who have attended up to and including module 5.
