A chance to sample Dru Yoga teacher training courses near Bangor. Train as a yoga teacher in the beautiful surroundings of Snowdonia National Park, North Wales.

This is a 'live' day on one of our teacher training modules for you to experience what it's actually like to be on the Dru Yoga teacher training course.

You will be able to meet the tutors; examine the course manuals; explore the course materials; have your questions answered and experience the power, joy and stillness that is Dru Yoga. 

Throughout the day you will experience and enjoy the many aspects of Dru Yoga:

  • Asanas (yoga postures);
  • Flowing sequences such as Energy Block Release sequences;
  • Pranayama (breath work);
  • Deep relaxation;
  • Aspects of anatomy and physiology;
  • Principles of core stability;
  • Anatomy of the subtle energy system and much, much more.

For this special day it would be helpful if you could bring your own yoga mat (if you have one) and a bottle of water. You will need to wear comfortable yoga clothes.

This day is specifically tailored for people who are interested in either the Dru Yoga foundation course or the Dru Yoga teacher training course.

Snowdonia Mountain Lodge

Join us at the Dru Centre, Snowdonia Mountain Lodge. With its spectacular panaramic views, situated in the beautiful Nant Ffrancon valley in Snowdonia National Park, it’s the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. Towering mountains rise on either side, and from your bedroom window you can see the changing light dancing over the fields, and listen to the sheep and lambs in the surrounding fields. The peace monument's water feature is a relaxing place to sit and soak up the sunshine, or you can meditate by a mountain stream.   • Some of our great meditation, yoga and relaxation products will be available to help you take the experience home.
  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start so we can get going on time.
  • Tea and coffee is provided, and if you need a packed lunch or any food please bring it along with you. 
  • Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, bottle of water, notepad and pen.
  • Share the experience—why not bring a friend with you!
