Dru Dance teacher training, Snowdonia

Registration is closed for this event
This is the Dru Yoga teacher's version of this invigorating and inspiring dance retreat, in which you can qualify to teach the dance. Blending together the benefits of yoga and dance, Dru Dance is an energetic, stress-busting form of Dru Yoga.

Dru Yoga Graduates: offer Dru Dance classes as something different and inspiring for your students.

This course is for those who have already completed the Dru Yoga teacher training course.  This more than fulfils your full CPD requirement for the year (It provides 12 professional and 6 personal CPD points).

Dru Dance is a distinctly different discipline from a Dru Yoga class and has its own format and style.

By popular request, over three days you learn and are assessed to teach the dance. Ideally preparation begins at least a month before the retreat. You will be sent preparation guidelines for body preps and postures that it is essential to revise to teach the specific dance.

Blending together the benefits of yoga and dance, Dru Dance is an energetic, stress-busting form of Dru Yoga. With music from funk to soothing rhythms. It’s invigorating, exhilarating, fun and addictive!

You’ll experience a revitalising weekend of Dru Yoga and Dru Dance, including flow ins (warm-ups) and body preps, an invigorating Dru Dance sequence as well as time to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Over the long weekend you’ll participate in at least 3 dynamic dance sessions, so a good level of fitness is required.

Learning to teach Dru Dance is a great way to rejuvenate yourself and your teaching and gain a deeper understanding of postures. Not to mention it offers your students something new and really fun!
