The format and start time of a Dru Yoga try out days will vary with region, but here's an idea of some of the content you can expect:

  • introduction and session overview
  • warming up and body preparation
  • introducing Energy Block Release Sequences (EBRs)
  • Dru Yoga postures and sequences including benefits and modifications
  • the rejuvenating power of meditation and deep relaxation
  • explore elements of the teacher training course
  • the course manual will be available for you to look at

Make new friends, chat with your tutors

You'll meet your local tutors, so you can have the chance to ask questions and experience what it might be like to train further with us. There will be other students, like yourself, coming to try and experience Dru Yoga so you'll also have the opportunity to meet like minded people in your local area.

Our Dru Yoga Taster Day will be taught by Dru Tutors from the South West team which includes; Anne, Bob, Imogen, Mary, Lesley and Jan.  There will also be an opportunity to meet some of the graduates from the previous SW course and ask them questions.

Cancellations—If we cancel a Dru Taster, we give you the option of being reimbursed the event fee, or transferring it to a future event. If you cancel (because of illness or some other unforseen circumstance) then we give you the option of transferring the event fee to a future Dru event.

  • Some of our great meditation, yoga and relaxation products will be available to help you take the experience home.
  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start so we can get going on time.
  • Tea and coffee is provided, and if you need a packed lunch or any food please bring it along with you. 
  • Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, bottle of water, notepad and pen.
  • Share the experience—why not bring a friend with you!

These try out days are so much fun. They give you the experience of seeing how Dru Yoga/Dru Meditation training courses work, just how we run the teacher training courses and what's involved. You get to meet members of the Dru teacher training team and can get answers to any questions you may have. Also you get to meet other like-minded people considering perhaps taking their experience of yoga and/or meditation to another level. Dru Yoga and Dru Meditation teacher training courses are all listed on the Dru Yoga website.
