I have practised yoga and meditation for 27 years experiencing a range of schools including hatha, kundalini and Dru. Yoga has given me a way to live my life with much equanimity, love, joy, peace and spaciousness and to weather the inevitable storms and trials with grace and from an open mind, open heart and flexible body! I love to share the practices that I have found so beneficial with my students. I am also an educational consultant so I bring my many years of teaching experience to my yoga teaching and as a dancer I love the flowing nature of Dru.

I teach Dru yoga - a flowing accessible form of yoga with lots of sequences including the unique Energy Block Release sequences. Yoga can be practised to support physical health, emotional and mental wellbeing and to deepen spiritual awareness - you can take it at whatever level suits you in my classes. Dru builds strength, flexibility and a calm mind - great for managing stress! It's suitable for all ages and abilities - I will suggest adaptations to suit you - so come along to find out how it can help you live well. Classes include fun activations to warm up, sequences, asanas (postures), mudras (hand/feet/head gestures), pranayama (breathing) techniques and even some meditation and deep relaxation to set you up for your day, your week, your life!

Mondays 9.15-10.45am at Matlock Imperial Rooms, Imperial Road, Matlock, DE4 3NL
Tuesdays 7.00-8.30pm at Kirk Ireton Village Hall, Hob Lane, Kirk Ireton, DE6 3LD
