I am from Australia. I have studied psychology and social work and I have practiced as a social worker for over a decade, predominately helping children, adults and families with mental health challenges. I have found that talk based therapies are incredibly helpful and healing, but often only take a person or a family so far, and I have always been on the lookout for something more wholistic to compliment these analytical forms of therapy.

I discovered yoga in my mid twenties and have practiced Dru yoga for 10 years, through both of my pregnancies and all the ups and downs of life. It has transformed me. I adore the flowing, graceful style of Dru, and the spaciousness and clarity of mind that I experience after every session. It connects me to the exquisite ‘aliveness’ of the present moment, the space beyond the conceptual, thinking mind, where all fear falls away and true love resides.

I trained as a Dru Yoga teacher in London because of my positive experience of Dru, and my desire to help people live a happier, healthier and more meaningful life. I believe Dru offers this - and I have already seen it help so many people. I love that it is so accessible – it is truly a style of yoga that anyone can practice. I know that Dru compliments traditional forms of therapy for many people with mental health challenges, and I look forward to one day completing the Dru Yoga Therapy training so I can combine my therapeutic social work and yoga teacher skills to offer a truly wholistic healing package.

My gentle yet powerful classes ofter you a space to really slow down and become aware of your body and mind .We have fun, and it’s a very friendly and informal environment. You decide when to take it easy, and when to challenge yourself. Reduce your stress levels, feel more spacious and grounded, and leave after a wonderful, deep relaxation better prepared for whatever unfolds next in your life.
