Warm-ups, asanas and sequences, breathing techniques and relaxation form the structure each week, with snippits of yoga philosphy woven in when it feels right. The depth of support within the group is from mixed ages and experience -some having practiced for years, others new to yoga and / or Dru. There is warmth of interactions here - we do have fun - not least from working around our limitations. Self-awareness and self-regard are foundations for health and vitality. Classes are fun and friendly and suitable for all, all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities.
In modern day life, the beauty and gift of finding a space where you can just be is invaluable. It puts everything in to perspective and you can feel relaxed, revitalised and re-energised ready to face life again.
Dru was a lifeline for me and has become way more than a yoga practice, it has become a way of life. It has eased a painful back, given me more mobility and flexibility, eased migraines and headaches, given me some me time, a place to just be and a place to be me. It has helped me to overcome depression and become more confident and it has also be a major contributing factor in enabling me to completely change my life, my job, my body and my relationships. Its a really powerful tool.
So whether you would like some me time, if you have a physical, mental or emotional health challenge you would like relief from, if you want to feel more confident and happy or make a change in your life, or you just wish to move your body with awareness in a way that's kind and enjoyable then I would like to invite you to give one of my Dru yoga classes a try.

My classes are suitable for all ages and levels of fitness, we focus on all aspects of Yoga - Asana, Pranayama, Relaxation, Meditation, affirmation, visualisation, all the different layers of our being, giving you the tools to transform your life. My class has a nice friendly atmosphere and welcomes all. We start with activations to warm up muscles and joints and get the blood flowing, to relax and have a bit of fun ! We then move on to and Energy Block Release Sequence (unique to Dru Yoga) energy gets trapped in muscles, joints and if not released can go deeper causing dis- ease (disease)
Then we move to Asana (Postures) in which we cater for all, giving modifications or alternatives where needed, we also have a number of beautiful sequences to help you transform negativity, anger, fear, doubt into positivity, breathing techniques short meditations and a lovely 15-20min relaxation,The classes are structured so that there's always something new to learn and something for everyone.
