This event is donation-based, and your contributions will make a difference for children around the world with the ‘Peace in Your Hands’ Project (Charity Number: 1161432). So far over 890 schools and 80,000 children have used this Peace Education Package for free – the curriculum having been developed by specialists in the field of the development of the young child, and stress and trauma management.
- Strengthens a safe and peaceful educational environment in school
- Supports skills in the field of civic education and dealing with cultural differences
- Provides tools to discuss social issues.
- Special attention is given to work with children in stressful situations (including refugee children).
The package includes:
- Individual and group activities
- Movement, relaxation and breathing exercises to create balance
- Inspiring stories & lesson plans for the classroom.
