Accomplished musician and Dru Kirtan singer, Petra Opsteeg will be facilitating the uplifting journey of sound
Petra’s musical journey started at a young age, and she was especially impacted during her travels to India, where she spent four transformative months in an ashram. There, she discovered the profound practices of yoga, meditation, and kirtan, and this ignited a passion and led to 35 years of experience in mantra and kirtan.
Petra has taught sound and mantra with Dru across the UK, Europe, India, and Australia, and she loves to share the incredible power of these practices.
Increase your connection
Working with mantra, song, and your voice—even for just five minutes a day—can profoundly enhance your connection, filling you with an innate joy and feeling of fulfilment. Deeply immersing yourself in kirtan is truly uplifting, and creates a deep sense of connection and bliss.
We’d love you to join Petra, Mona, Nitya Mukta and the Dru team as we explore these transformative practices together, unlocking the potential of sound to enrich our lives and elevate our spirits.
Embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing with the vibrant power of kirtan!
Come as you are — leave inspired, energized, and connected.
We are delighted to welcome Nitya Mukta and share her wonderful gift of Kirtan with us in Otley!
Nitya Mukta has chanted Buddhist mantras for over 25 years. Discovering Bhakti Yoga and Kirtan through Dru in 2016, she deepened her practice through training and now leads regular Kirtan sessions, retreats, and workshops. Nitya feels blessed to share Kirtan, a simple yet profound heart-centred practice connecting to the Self.
