From meditation retreats to family yoga holidays, you will experience rejuvenating yoga and meditation sessions, walks in our stunning valley of Nant Ffrancon and time to relax with holistic therapies. Teaching sessions are held in our spacious yoga hall and in between sessions you can browse in our extensive yoga shop.

We like to define meditation as the perfect balance between alertness and relaxation. It doesn’t matter if you practise in a chair or sitting cross legged on the floor, it’s about being comfortable, quietening the mind and stilling the body.
How can I benefit from meditation?
Dru Meditation, in common with many other types of meditation, starts with mindful awareness of body and breath. Mindfulness reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, chronic pain and insomnia. You can experience these health benefits at Dru Meditation retreats or workshops.
The next stage of Dru Meditation develops your skills from simply observing your mind to understanding how your body, energy, emotions and thought are linked - and how you might design them into new and more fulfilling patterns. There is a vast landscape within our consciousness, described in the yogic tradition through models such as chakras and koshas, and you can learn to become a master of this at Dru Meditation Foundation courses.
And if you want to really harness meditation's many benefits - and learn to meditate with ease - our Meditation Training courses teach you the third stage of Dru Meditation. Now you will discover how to effortlessly transform your consciousness, learning to become the master of your emotions and mind, rather than a victim. You’ll learn advanced breathing techniques, mantras and kriyas which will empower your strengths and help you to deeply know yourself. Ayurveda is an incredible science that teaches us how to live a balanced life.
In Ayurveda there are three main constitution types or doshas. Finding your unique doshic type gives you a way of developing a logical health plan to keep you happy, healthy and vibrant.
Dru Dance is a more energetic, stress-busting form of Dru Yoga that blends the benefits of yoga and dance. Moving with music from funk to soothing rhythms, it’s invigorating, exhilarating and guaranteed to wipe away cobwebs!
The Dru Sound courses and retreat experience is the ideal way to explore the power of sound - and it's in beautiful Snowdonia! If you've ever felt as though you can't sing, this course will help you to find your natural voice and teach you how to project yourself vocally whether speaking or singing. You will learn how to stabilise your voice, develop voice control, evenness of sound and how to project your voice with confidence, power and impact. You will gain confidence in communication skills, and both teaching, public speaking and singing.
