Easing Headaches

 -
Duration:
50 mins

This class is all about first aid and prevention for headaches. A simple, gentle, effective programme that will change your life.

Learn new tips to add to your tool kit of different ways of alleviating tension.

Enjoy this therapeutic class with Annie Jones and learn how to manage headaches that may occur because of posture problems, lifestyle problems, nutrition or trauma.

Work with the Bridge posture (Setubandhasana), the Standing Forward Bend (Padahastasana), self massage and acupressure points to release the tension around the skull.

Help the circulation system dilate the blood vessels as you work with your breath and sink quietly into a short relaxation.

Lovely session. I often have headaches that are stress driven, made a lot worse by surgery and other medical treatment, my shoulders and neck feeling ‘jammed’ up. This session was absolutely blissful to do. Thank you so much.

Lovely session Annie. Quick question: with the prevalent use of mobile phones and the postural implications of that, are there neck strengthening exercises that can be done as neck muscles are already stretched through the poor posture....? many thanks x

Thanks Annie. This sequence really helped me when I had a stiff neck and shoulder which was obviously holding a lot of tension. I felt almost back to normal by the next day!
