I am so inspired by the beauty and gentle power of Dru Yoga. It has helped me with many issues and is a practice that I find very easy to blend into my daily life. It has helped me with core issues, after abdominal surgery and helped me with stress and emotional issues too. It increases my sense of wellbeing on all levels and restores a sense of balance to my life. It is known as 'heart based' yoga and helps with self compassion and compassion for others too. I aim to help people from all walks of life to strengthen, tone and balance the body/mind and help remind them of the potential calm within. To find their point of stillness. Their 'Dru-point'; their own North Star!
Welcome to Dru Yoga! I am based in Plympton. Plymouth. I teach Dru Yoga for adults at St Peter's Lutheran Church, Larkham Lane Plympton. PL7 4PG on a Friday night at 6pm. ( Please aim to be there by 5:50pm). Please see my website for details. I am a Yoga teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. Dru Yoga is rooted in classical yoga and each class has an Energy Block Release Sequence, which has been proven to release physical, emotional and mental stress. Classical strengthening and stretching postures are included. There is always a beautiful relaxation at the end too, so bring a blanket if you can! I am a Dru Kids and Teens Teacher too and teach yoga in a local school. I am always happy to bring Yoga for children/teenagers/young adults into schools, youth clubs or wherever needed. I trained in Iyengar Yoga, previous to Dru Yoga. I can teach Yoga for children as a part of the school day through 'Research on Yoga in Education UK' and 'Yoga for Chronic Fatigue' as taught by Fiona Agombar- if requested.
