Remember to tune into your body wisdom, and pause as soon as you need to. If you have any health conditions, consider these points before starting this class:
- High blood pressure if uncontrolled, or low blood pressure / postural hypertension – avoid inversions or lifting your arms above your heart
- Pregnancy – strong forward bends are not for you
- Instead of lying down on your front – or possibly your back: You may be better lying on your side after eating, or if you’ve had recent abdominal surgery or significant cardiac or respiratory problems… or if you are pregnant
