Prana Vayus and therapeutics of Dru Yoga
A half day workshop led by Senior Dru International teacher trainer,
Sylvia Barrington is a fine technical practitioner and has a deep understanding of the therapeutics of Dru Yoga, being the co-creator of the Dru Yoga Therapy Course. She is a brilliant presenter with a fabulous sense of humour and unique way of sharing her wisdom; a workshop not to be missed.
In this workshop we will explore the prana vayus in some depth. Ancient yogis discovered that prana (life force energy) could be divided into components, which they named “vayus”, meaning winds or currents.
The 5 main vayus have specific direction of flow and govern certain functions in the body.
When we focus on them and move the body in a particular way we can create optimum health and wellbeing on all levels.
Sylvia will also share her expertise of the therapeutic application of Dru Yoga, taking your yoga to a whole new level.
This workshop is specifically for participants and graduates of the Dru Yoga and Dru meditation teacher training courses.
I not only enjoyed it, I loved it! Thank you. It really helped me to feel my core stability muscles. I'm looking forward training them ;-)
If you want to physically strengthen your body and emotionally enhance your mind, Dru Yoga will give you the tools to take into your daily life and help you cope with the stresses of modern living.
Thank you, this was lovely. It was great to have your teaching in my home! Great production also - good picture, good sound, easy to fast forward and great that I could see what was happening as I fast forwarded so I knew when to stop. I also like the way Dru Online is bringing us more specific subjects like this one, that before we have only seen in the workbooks. Thank you.
