Part of our special Masterclass series for Dru graduates!
In this session Noelene and a panel of three experienced teachers of yoga and meditation explore creative ways of designing classes that remain fresh and interesting for your students.
We hear from:
Julie Beynon: Julie is one of our team of Dru Yoga Teacher Trainers, one or the senior tutors on the Dru Back Care & Wellbeing, Prenatal and Yoga Therapy courses and other postgraduate yoga trainings. Since discovering Dru yoga in 2001, Julie has delved deeply into the teachings and loves to share Yoga’s amazing healing and rejuvenating tools in her classes in Sydney.
Monte Scharbow: Monte is a Canberra-based Dru Yoga and Meditation teacher. Most of his more than 15 years of teaching has been with traditional open Dru yoga classes. With the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, Monte stepped back from regular teaching classes and now only occasionally fills in for others. He is currently preparing to offer classes to what is expected to be a seniors cohort.
Sylvia Campbell-Morton: Sylvia started teaching Dru Yoga in 2012. As well as teaching general yoga classes in south west Brisbane, Sylvia also teaches Dru Prenatal, Postnatal/Mums and Bubs, Dru Kids and Teens, Seniors and Chair Yoga, Dru Meditation. For Sylvia it's all about Living, Loving Yoga and Meditation and sharing this with as many people as she can.
These three teachers come from diverse backgrounds and have taught a wide range of different students. We hope you'll enjoy hearing their different perspectives on the art of putting classes together!
There will be the opportunity to ask questions and also to go into breakout groups to share with each other some of what you do!
This Masterclass is suitable for Dru Yoga and Dru Meditation graduates. You will accrue 2 Professional development CPD points for attending.

Firstly, what a professional bunch you all are there at Dru! The love, enthusiasm and dedication put in by the tutors and support staff was hugely impressive - never in 50 years have I been on such a good, well done, well thought out course with such enthusiastic and caring people - you make me realise how bad a lot of the courses I have been on were! A hugely liberating and affirming life experience- the air almost crackled with the positive energy of the tutors, support staff and students. I felt a foot taller, twenty years younger and brimming with energy!!

I have been doing Dru yoga along with my husband Alan Inglis for a number of years now and go to his classes. I have to say that Dru helped me get my strength and walking ability back after a very severe illness. I am a true fan.

The training is about so much more than the asanas, it is very holistic. The pace is at the right level, every asana is refreshed so you get the opporunity to learn how to do it correctly.
