FREE DPN CONNECT - Social prescribing and managing common health conditions in your class

1 March, 2024

Postponed 1 week till Friday 1 March

We're thrilled to extend a warm invitation to you for our nurturing and inspiring free DPN CONNECT event on Friday, 1 March at 7pm. (with apologies for having to postpone this for one week)

Come and meet Nanna and Janey, and learn how much you can do as a yoga teacher to build wellbeing for conditions like backs, anxiety, depression and so much more.

The field of social prescribing is growing each year, and you can be part of helping society master self-help approaches to common health conditions - which these days are so prevelant in our classes!

Tonight we'll be exploring some of the fundamentals of this, as well as showing you how the Back Care and Mental Wellbeing course can make a huge contribution to your teaching.

We'll discuss the training you need to offer easy-to-apply yoga approaches to these conditions, giving you the capability to work within the NHS*, corporate settings and any yoga class environment.

This course also gives you a certification in Trauma Aware yoga.

We’ll be answering questions on how this course will give you the tools to make a difference for people in a class setting - and of course in your own life and in your friendship and family circles.

Make sure you mark your calendar for a transformative event and don't miss out on this enriching experience!

If you are a member of the Dru Professional Network you will be able to accrue 1 CPD hour for attendance at this event. Attendees from other yoga schools will need to check individually for their own CPD credits.
