Meditation, Sound & Mantra workshop in Manchester June 2018
In this morning workshop, you’ll practise Dru Yoga movements to stretch and relax your body. You'll experience 3 short Dru Meditations you can use at home to melt away stress, bring energy and inner calm. You’ll also experience the healing balm of sound and mantra which will balance your chakras and bring joy. There will be movements and breathing techniques to prepare you to connect with your inner stillness - the Dru point. We will also be doing kirtan (chanting of mantras) which is great fun, energising and balancing. If you’re considering the Dru Meditation or Yoga of Sound courses, this workshop will be the ideal preparation.
This workshop will be taught by senior Jane Clapham and Petra Opsteeg - Dru Meditation and Dru Sound tutors. We aim to help you develop your own personal practice and give you an opportunity to experience what it's like on the Dru Meditation or Dru Sound training course.
This workshop is suitable for all abilities!
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing, and bring a mat, cushion, blanket & bottle of water.
