Masterclass: Ayurveda for Women's Health
Ayurveda recognises that we are unique and powerful individuals and that our body responds to events such as PMS and menopause in different ways.
This workshop will explore practical ways to help you recognise your symptoms in order to create a health plan that includes nutrition, movement and meditation, nature, supportive supplements and herbs and lifestyle tips.
The 3 main Ayurvedic constitutional types highlight the different symptoms you may feel if there is an imbalance being experienced.
PMS
- Are you suffering from bloating, clicking joints, pain, overwhelm and higher sensitivity to stress before your cycle? These are vata symptoms.
- Are you suffering from excess heat, pain, anger and frustration as a build up to your cycle? These are more pitta symptoms.
- Are you suffering from heaviness, depression, swelling of breasts and weight gain? These are more kapha symptoms.
Menopause
Similarly, at the menopause phase, these symptoms can present themselves in a similar fashion as we are more likely to follow a pattern based on the dominant dosha that has the greatest tendency to move out of balance for us as individuals.
The good news is that once you recognise your dominant dosha type, you can put things in place to create a balance that works for your unique body type. And as a result, ease the symptoms we mention above.
See you there!
