Masterclass - Master your Mind

17 November, 2021
(Registration open till December 2025)

Meditation is one of the most powerful tools to become in charge of our mind. Specifically, Dru meditation combines focussed sitting, breathing techniques and mantra to transform our thinking so we can choose our attitude in any situation. In this masterclass, Jane Clapham, director of the Dru Meditation Mastery courses, will share an hour of her favourite techniques  to help you become the master of your mind.

You will learn three powerful keys of Dru Meditation:
1. Focussed, effortless concentration
2. Pranayama - control of the breath
3. Mantra - ancient words of power

Dru Meditation is about finding a still inner point from which you can look at the world in a different way and discover a fresh, new perspective on your life. You'll discover powerful breathing techniques, kriyas and concentration techniques. In this masterclass Jane will share a meditation practice you can use through the winter months to keep your mind joyful and focussed.

If you are a member of the Dru Professional Network you will be able to accrue two CPD hours for attendance at this masterclass. Attendees from other yoga schools will need to check individually for their own CPD credits.

Dru is the power tool I use to clear the debris from my body and mind.

However long you have been practicing yoga, this was different and very thoughtful - although previous experience helped. The dance session had a beautiful flow - it almost breathed.

When I came along to a Youth course at Dru I didn’t really know what to expect as I had no prior experience with any yoga. But it was a really enjoyable experience and I’m glad I made the decision to go.
The people on the course were all really nice, and I’m friends with everyone I’ve met through the retreats.
Also, the food is really incredible, you will love it.
I’ve always had really tense back and shoulder muscles, resulting in poor posture and poor shoulder flexibility. Even though at first difficult if you stick with it you will eventually see results, as I have.
If you’re considering coming to a Dru Youth retreat I would recommend it, and I found it to be really worhwhile
