Global Meditation for Peace - Sept 2022 - Donation-based event
In this time of change, meditation can bring us a sense of stillness and inner security. When we are centered and strong, we can be a support to our families, communities and to the world.
Dru meditation is a yogic system of meditation that helps us quieten the body and mind, finding a nourishing balance between relaxation and alertness. Join meditators and peacemakers from all over the globe to create a wave of healing and light in this donation-based class. This hour-long class will include movement to prepare for sitting, a guided meditation and a mantra practice to focus on light within. We will focus this calm and light on healing the world.
This class is free but we welcome donations to help cover the costs of running this event.
If you are a member of the Dru Professional Network you will be able to accrue two CPD hours for attendance at this masterclass. Attendees from other yoga schools will need to check individually for their own CPD credits.
Before the event start time, you will receive an email with the link to the event.

It has inspired me to be more disciplined with my practice and in addition, to think more deeply about its effect on me at all levels; I’ve learnt so much! The course has also enabled me to continue the process of unwinding, freeing up and reaching out to life!
I have gained more knowledge – I feel more confident. It’s given me a much wider vocabulary to take students into other koshas, to vary my teaching and experiment more.

I have found a new inner strength that I thought I had lost forever, a renewed sense of confidence in myself, and a joy in life, in nature, in the ‘little’ things. I know when things get tough I will be fine. I can find a quiet and safe haven inside myself which is there always.
