Revealing the mystery of the Sacred Sacral - Aug 2021
There is a profound reason why the Sacral region, or sacred region, is the heart of the 2nd chakra.
This is the part of our mind that governs our relationships with ourselves, our world, the people around us. When this region is in balance across the 5 layers of being, we have access to our relationship with our Great Self - our own fully accomplished presence. Some would call this the Divine, thus making this part of our awareness the origin of our relationship with the sacred.
Nanna Coppens is one of Dru's foremost international tutors, and tonight she'll be taking you on a magical mystery tour of the sacral region through the koshas: physical, subtle energy, emotions, knowings, and the bliss of pure connectedness. You'll experience key yoga techniques for entering this world, and a gentle, graduated yet so-powerful process for opening the sacral region to your own unique greatness.
Nanna is a master of therapeutic yoga, and tonight will take you via a series of easy steps from the ordinary beauty of a summer's day into the extraordinary presence of all that is special - or indeed sacred - within you.
See you there!
If you are a member of the Dru Professional Network you will be able to accrue 2 CPD hours for attendance at this masterclass. Attendees from other yoga schools will need to check individually for their own CPD credits.

The people on the course were all really nice, and I’m friends with everyone I’ve met through the retreats.
Also, the food is really incredible, you will love it.
I’ve always had really tense back and shoulder muscles, resulting in poor posture and poor shoulder flexibility. Even though at first difficult if you stick with it you will eventually see results, as I have.
If you’re considering coming to a Dru Youth retreat I would recommend it, and I found it to be really worhwhile

I learned so much in my first module of the teacher training about Dru Yoga. I love the graceful, flowing movements and the way my body feels after a Dru yoga session. It is very different from any other style of yoga I have ever done. Your body feels more flexible and energised and your mind feels calm and relaxed. I loved every aspect of the course. It was well delivered with a good mix of theory and practical sessions each day. The books given as part of the course are excellent.
