Masterclass - Yoga Nidra - Nurturing and Tranquility - 22 July 2020

22 July, 2020
(Registration open till December 2025)

Yoga Nidra is a much needed soothing balm for our soul.

This special masterclass with Andre Hartwich brings you the remarkable discovery of the power of yoga nidra to transform your experience of life.

We all need a break from our world of information overload, constant activity, and restless minds filled with endless thoughts and the resulting fatigue and unease.

Regular practice of Yoga Nidra allows us to wind down and drop into a peaceful state of non-doing and calm.

In this webinar André will share with you an approach to deep relaxation - through Yoga Nidra - to help you peel away layers of stress, tension and worry and drop into a profound state of ease, restoration and healing.

He will guide you through some gentle movement and pranayama to best prepare you for the actual practice.

The focus of this particular practice will be on creating nurture and tranquility and establish a sense of wholeness and clarity.

This is your time to treat yourself to a profoundly nourishing experience for your body and mind.

This masterclass was originally shown live in the Netherlands, last month, and will be live hosted with Andrew Wells this week.

I really enjoyed my first experience of Dru Yoga, the asanas, pranayama and relaxation experienced. Thank you Imogen and Anne.

I liked the gradual building of positions into a sequence, so that you felt you had mastered each position before it became a sequence, which was very relaxing and confidence building. The workshop overall was friendly and welcoming, whatever level you are, whether you are a beginner or teacher. I was able to achieve positions I previously hadn't been able to because of the slow, precise instruction.

I am just working on the spine assignment. Apart from really enjoying all the research and information, I had to smile, because whilst writing about the spine and common back problems I have discomfort in my back (chronic) and sitting in one position, not as relaxed as I would like, is aggravating it. I have been taking frequent breaks, doing the Dru stretches, tri spinal release, marjariasana, bringing my knees up and rocking my spine which I love, standing forward bend and squats and when I finish studying each day I do a long relaxation. I have been drinking lots of water as well. I love the fact I have the tools from the Dru to help myself and have the chance to put it all into practice. It's all made such a difference to my back, neck and rest of my body. From a happy yoga student!
