Session 4 - Spiritual Practice as an Ayurvedic Practitioner

Establishing a spiritual practice is paramount for one's well-being, as it serves as a cornerstone for balance and harmony in life. As Ayurvedic practitioners, this practice becomes even more critical, as it equips us with a deeper understanding of the profound connections between the mind, body, and spirit. By cultivating a personal spiritual practice, we not only nurture our own health and well-being but also gain valuable insights into tailoring Ayurvedic guidance for our clients.

Annie's exploration of various practices aligned with individual dosha compositions will provide a powerful tool for personalised healing. Understanding that each person's constitution is unique, she can recommend specific practices that resonate with your clients' inherent energies. Furthermore, by discerning one's clients' spiritual interests and inclinations, Annie can offer guidance and support as to how to tailor to your clients' needs, enriching their Ayurvedic journey.

In this way, your own spiritual practice will become a wellspring of wisdom and compassion, enabling you to serve as a more insightful and effective Ayurvedic practitioner

Replays will be available for you to review your learning, and for when you can't attend the two-hour live sessions.

This live session will start at 9 am BST

If you are a member of the Dru Professional Network you will be able to accrue 2 CPD hours for attendance at this event. Attendees from other yoga schools will need to check individually for their own CPD credits.

I really enjoyed the {Dru Yoga & Ayurvedic Cookery} workshop. It had a nice balance of yoga movement, relaxation and meditation/concentration that was not too challenging for a novice like me. The cookery demonstration was great fun and the food was delicious. Also everyone was friendly and the venue was good too. Thanks for a lovely day.

Keith was such an inspiration with his delicious dishes and I felt very nourished by our shared meal. I especially enjoyed the creamed carrots and will definitely be making it for my family. I was also reminded that it's not just about the cooking and that putting love and intent into it is what makes a real difference.

I was really delighted to be the recipient of the most wonderful Ayurveda massage while staying at the Lodge. I had travelled for hours from the north-east of Scotland, so my body was tired and I felt very ungrounded. Sandra gave me the most nurturing massage, which allowed me to rest very deeply and to sleep soundly afterwards. It was a little bit of heaven given by a very caring and attentive therapist. The room and the towels were warm and cosy and the smell of the oils divine. I felt very balanced and peaceful the next day. Thank you.
