Three Dru Yoga classes with Palvinder Kaur
Give your yourself an energy boost at the start of the New Year!
Join Palvinder Kaur for a series of 3 online Dru yoga classes, Monday evenings from 7pm to 8.15pm.
- 30th January
- 6th February
- 13th February
Are you feeling sluggish, or a sense of feeling heavy, after the festive season and into the New Year?
Ayurvedically, winter is said to be the Kapha season, a time when our body and mind intuitively can feel slower, more sluggish and there’s a general sense of heaviness.
Consequently, we can help to balance our body by utilising the positive aspects of Kapha dosha which is a sense of calmness, being more conscious and aware, and combining it with the fiery aspects of pitta and the lightness of the Vatta dosha through our yoga practice.
Palvinder’s yoga classes will explore the Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation)
Each week we will add postures to make the sequence a little more strenuous, which not only will help us to increase our energy levels and improve our flexibility & strength. but also help us to increase the fire element or Agni through applying Isotonic and Isometric principles of strengthening movement.
Classes are fun, accessible to all, yet also a little strenuous. They include:
• activations and stretches to prepare your body
• yoga postures
• Sun Salutation using the principle of Isotonic and Isometric strengthening movement
• guided deep relaxation to help you achieve a feeling of peace and harmony.
• we will complete with some breath work
We hope you will join us!
About Palvinder:
Palvinder experienced the magic of Dru ten years ago when she first drove to Snowdonia Mountain Lodge not knowing what she would find!
Within two weeks she was on the Dru Yoga TT course and has fallen in love with Dru ever since, especially the Dru Yoga Dance.
Palvinder loves how Dru Yoga encompasses the whole person and works with the koshas, the breath, affirmations, visualisations and relaxation.
She likes how Dru Yoga enhances the experience by applying other modalities such as the principles of Ayurveda, and exercise concepts without losing it’s own unique essence.
Palvinder is a Dru Yoga, Dru Meditation and Dru Yoga Dance teacher.
She is a Back Care & Wellbeing tutor who has completed the Advanced Practitioner course.
Palvinder is currently training on the Dru Yoga Therapy Course and is a trained Ayurvedic massage therapist.
If you are a member of the Dru Professional Network you will be able to accrue 1 CPD hour for attendance at this event. Attendees from other yoga schools will need to check individually for their own CPD credits.

Keith was such an inspiration with his delicious dishes and I felt very nourished by our shared meal. I especially enjoyed the creamed carrots and will definitely be making it for my family. I was also reminded that it's not just about the cooking and that putting love and intent into it is what makes a real difference.

Warm and welcoming facilitators with clear instructions and guidance.
