Live Dru Yoga class - New postures for new beginnings
Spring is coming, and this particular time in the yogic calendar is inviting us to let go of the old, create change and start again with a new zest!
Streamed on Zoom from Wales as well as Switzerland, Christiane and team are looking forward to sharing this class with you, introducing two postures dedicated to Shiva: Natarajasana and Tandavasana.
Shiva is the Lord of the cosmic Dance, a dance that was performed in order to destroy unwanted tendencies in the world and in our minds, in order for new creations and beauty to come forth once again.
Both Tandavasana as well as Natarajasana are balancing postures which strengthen our legs, pelvic floor and core muscles. Activation of the lower limbs allows us to let go of what’s not necessary anymore. The gentle activation through the spine brings about an openness in the heart. The balancing aspect brings focus and clarity to our mind to help us see what is important in our lives.
Furthermore these postures instill self-confidence and encourage self-expression.
Get ready to emerge as a new YOU! :)

If you want to feel better physically, mentally and spiritually, try Dru Yoga!

I have been inspired by all the tutors. The course has been transformative for me. I have made changes - it has made these possible.

The people on the course were all really nice, and I’m friends with everyone I’ve met through the retreats.
Also, the food is really incredible, you will love it.
I’ve always had really tense back and shoulder muscles, resulting in poor posture and poor shoulder flexibility. Even though at first difficult if you stick with it you will eventually see results, as I have.
If you’re considering coming to a Dru Youth retreat I would recommend it, and I found it to be really worhwhile
