Live Dru Yoga class - New postures for new beginnings

11 March, 2021
(Registration open till December 2025)

Spring is coming, and this particular time in the yogic calendar is inviting us to let go of the old, create change and start again with a new zest!

Streamed on Zoom from Wales as well as Switzerland, Christiane and team are looking forward to sharing this class with you, introducing two postures dedicated to Shiva: Natarajasana and Tandavasana.

Shiva is the Lord of the cosmic Dance, a dance that was performed in order to destroy unwanted tendencies in the world and in our minds, in order for new creations and beauty to come forth once again.

Both Tandavasana as well as Natarajasana are balancing postures which strengthen our legs, pelvic floor and core muscles. Activation of the lower limbs allows us to let go of what’s not necessary anymore. The gentle activation through the spine brings about an openness in the heart. The balancing aspect brings focus and clarity to our mind to help us see what is important in our lives.

Furthermore these postures instill self-confidence and encourage self-expression.

Get ready to emerge as a new YOU! :)

We're looking forward to sharing this class with you! :)

Christine, l am retired and live in rural South Australia. The timing of this course, The Spirituality of Yoga, was nothing short of amazing, as i was feeling the winter blues, and I'm excited about the continuing journey.

What I'll take away from today's postgrad workshop:- sharing with other yoga teachers from other yoga schools of yoga. Great explanation of the koshas and I'll add Salutation to the 4 Directions to my lessons.

Having come to the end of the Spirituality of Yoga adventure I am looking forward to taking this further. It was a truly beautiful experience shared with and offered by such open souls. We attuned with nature, nourished ourselves with uplifting yoga and meditation and were offered wisdom to weave into our daily lives. We met as like minded friends to discuss our practice devoting ourselves to explore our spiritual path. Thank you Dru I am so glad to be part of this journey.
