Blissful Meditation, Mantra and Gong Bath - 30 Sept 2022

Autumn is here and many of us are having issues with insomnia and anxiety as we move towards the colder days and longer nights of winter. So why not enjoy an hour of luxurious relaxation with healing sounds, guided by Jane Saraswati Clapham. She will use a variety of instruments including brass and crystal bowls to soothe your mind and body. This time, you'll be bathed with the sounds of the 9 planet tuning forks which bring harmony to the vibrations, guided by the constellation of the planets at this time. Once your body and mind are deeply soothed and relaxed, we will practice a blissful meditation together for 10 minutes.

From the comfort of your own home (or even bed!), listening live using headphones, to Jane's melodic bath of healing sound. She will use Vedic mantras to awaken the heart, melt away stress and bring a deep sense of joy and protection. The sound of the Japanese gong will help your brain move into the deepest brainwaves, associated with creativity, learning, and deep meditation. And once the mantras and gong have done their work, we will take time to luxuriate in that peaceful energy to meditate and settle.  Many people report deep healing sleep, a clearing and focusing of the mind, and a wonderful sense of peace after the gong and mantra bath.

Working in collaboration with Russell Roberts, our Dru sound engineer, this high-quality sound experience will help you get all the benefits of a live sound and mantra bath, without leaving your home. You just need a good pair of headphones and somewhere comfy to relax for an hour or so.

As this sound and meditation bath will be crafted especially for the energies of this week, we will broadcast this event live and you will be able to listen to the replay for 7 days from the day of the event.

Here's some feedback from the January session: 'Thank you so much for a beautiful experience this evening, my first gong bath with the Dru community.  I practise mindfulness but usually struggle with meditation. The gong bath really helped me to relax and be immersed in the sound and I was able to let thoughts come and float away again as I focused on my breathing during the meditation.  A wonderful experience! ‘I have been to 2 of your gong baths before and loved them. I was wondering how it would be in this new format. I sorted out some earplugs and settled down and it was wonderful. I couldn’t believe the quality of the sound! I had a great night’s sleep.  I would be interested in a gong bath once a month.

Thank you all so much for this! What a precious gift this has been.
Connecting in with teachers and fellow Dru yogis around the world is always a great joy. 
Following the videos and working on the meditations has been everything I have needed this week.
I am opening my classes again here in Norway after having been closed since 12th March. 
So a very special time indeed. 
I feel so blessed - belonging to this community, doing this work, bringing positive change to the world.

My name is Linda I did the Meditation teacher training in 2010, after teaching Dru Yoga for 6 yrs.
