First Aid Training for Yoga Teachers
EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK.
Saturday April 13th, 9.30am – 5pm at Acanthus Golf Centre, Thorpe Lane, Thorpe WF3 1SL.
The Emergency First Aid at Work course comprises of six hours tuition covering Vital Signs, Accident Procedure, Airway and Breathing Assessment and Maintenance, Safe Airway Position, CPR, Use of Defibrillators, Seizures, Choking, Bleeding, Shock, Burns and Scalds, Minor Injuries and First Aid Kits.
On successful completion, which is based on continuous assessment throughout the day, candidates will be issued with a Certificate accredited by ITC First (Awarding Body) which is valid for three years. ITC is recognised for the provision of well-resourced first aid training by approved trainers.
All training centres are externally verified and comply with current legislation.
The course is being run by Gill Loukes from M'aidez First Aid Training, who aims to make the course fun and interactive throughout the day, using a variety of teaching and learning methods to ensure that it is inclusive to all. It is a practical course giving candidates the opportunity to practice on the first aid equipment, including mannequins, defibrillators, dressings and choking vests.
Places are limited and booking is essential. The price of the course is £69 and only payment secures your place. Full refunds only where 7 days notice has been given.
