We are delighted to bring you great news about our forthcoming Ayurveda massage course.  

What better way to nourish the mind, body and soul than with warm, relaxing and healing oils, especially those geared to your own constitution. This has to be one of the most powerful mediums for calming, soothing and washing away any worries, anxiety or troubles you may have.

Learn how to deeply relax and nurture others. At the same time gain insights into how to empower people to love who they are as unique and powerful beings. 

 'Ayur' means 'life' and 'Veda' means 'knowledge'. Therefore Ayurveda means 'the science of life' (Charaka Samhita).

Ayurveda massage is one of the many pillars of Ayurveda. It is designed to help restore and maintain balance in both body and mind. Over the first module you will discover this gentle, rhythmic massage using a variety of techniques (full body front and full body back) to stimulate and enhance skin tone, detoxify and revitalise the entire body and induce deep relaxation. It uses warm herb-infused oils specifically tailored to individual needs. The combination of herbal oils and gentle warmth makes the massage a deeply restful and rejuvenating experience. 

Through Ayurveda massage the herbs in the oils are taken directly into the body in a powerful and relaxing way. The time needed for the oil to be absorbed is given as one 'Matra' which equals approximately three seconds - or the time it takes to blink an eyelid (The essence of Ayurveda by Dr Sanjay Pisharadi).
