Yoga postures to counteract the effects of sitting
In this class we will explore yoga movements together to counteract the effects of sitting. As human beings we used to roam around nature throughout our evolution, but modern life has put a hold on a lot of the natural ways our body would want to move and express itself. And during this time of lockdown have you found that you’ve perhaps spent more time sitting in front of the computer or television screen, in zoom meetings or online programmes? The consequence can be: postural problems, back or neck pain, headaches… to just name a few.
In this next set of classes we will work through a series of yoga postures together to open the chest, release muscular tightness in the hips, back and neck as well as strengthening the deep stabilising muscles that naturally want to support you. So you can live in a body free of tension, pain and worry, which is your birthright. A body that is healthy and strong, and so full of abundant vitality and happiness that you want to dance and move around freely at breakfast time! :D

Dru Yoga is so gentle and flowing with no forced movement; my body always feels so much better after practising.
