Yoga Nidra - Awakening to the Self, Snowdonia, 2-7 July 2020
Dru Yoga Nidra is the silence that follows OM. It’s a journey that leads to samadhi and ultimately to turiya itself. In other words it’s a path to the state of enlightenment.
Immerse yourself into the philosophy, science, and practice of these ancient teachings that have the potential to awaken you to the essence of your being.
This 5-day immersion is for yoga and meditation practitioners and seekers who want to explore Dru Yoga Nidra not only as the practice of a technique but also as a state of consciousness.
You will discover the difference between nidra and deep relaxation - and enjoy the benefits of both. You will learn the necessary preparations that will set you up for a successful yoga nidra experience, and you’ll be taught the various ways to practice and also how to anchor your experience - honouring that this is a process that can transform your life.
During our time together our focus will be on the healing, spiritual awakening and self-empowerment aspect of Dru Yoga Nidra.
This immersion is taught by Nanna Coppens, Silke Zanker and André Hartwich

The workshop was friendly, stimulating and a nice venue. I enjoyed learning new postures, the different layers of postures, diaphragmatic breathing. It was very clear, a good pace, informative on all levels. Great kindness and care from all tutors.
Having attended classes for over a year it was really good to have a taster of a longer session and different poses, breathing techniques. Felt very centred.
The people on the course were all really nice, and I’m friends with everyone I’ve met through the retreats.
Also, the food is really incredible, you will love it.
I’ve always had really tense back and shoulder muscles, resulting in poor posture and poor shoulder flexibility. Even though at first difficult if you stick with it you will eventually see results, as I have.
If you’re considering coming to a Dru Youth retreat I would recommend it, and I found it to be really worhwhile
