This course will start with online live interactive sessions and will be delivered up to 50% online interactive and 50% person to person. Person to person sessions are most likely to be between May and October each year, subject to government guidelines. Start date subject to enrolment numbers.

The Dru Yoga Therapy Diploma Course is accredited with the British Council of Yoga Therapists (BCYT) and taught by an international team of yoga, health and medical professionals.

This cutting edge course brings together ancient wisdom and modern complementary medicine enabling you to:

  • deepen your knowledge of yoga as a therapy;
  • assist your clients with a wide variety of physical and psychological conditions;
  • establish your own clinic, working with small groups and individuals, liaising with health professionals to ensure optimum care for your clients.

A qualified Dru Yoga therapist is able to register with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and is recognised as being able to work within a clinical setting alongside other health professionals such as GPs, medics and complementary health practitioners. 

A yoga therapist is able to work with individuals and groups of clients to design specific therapeutic programmes for a diverse range of health conditions such as; back pain, asthma, arthritis, digestive disorders, heart and circulatory conditions, stress, anxiety and depression.

1 & 2 May - Introduction to the Course. Back Care 1.
5 & 6 June - Back Care 2.
4 & 5 September - Mental health and wellbeing.
23 & 24 October - Integration module. Core principles of yoga therapy. Vedic model of yoga therapy. Structural assessment 1.
27 & 28 November - Prana Vayus. Working with the Koshas. Kriyas. Structural assessment 2. Yoga therapy approach to structural dysfunction.
12 December - Consolidation (tutorials)

22 & 23 January - Integrated yoga awareness practice. Ayurvedic principles in practice within yoga therapy.
12 & 13 March - How to create a safe space for clients. Personal and professional relationships. working with Pathologies.
During week commencing 25 April - 3 Clinical practice days. Clinical skills. Structural analysis. Delivering yoga therapy for differing needs 1. Using aspects of Ayurveda as a tool for yoga therapy assessment 1.
28 & 29 May - Relaxation / Meditation & Pranayama as a therapy 1.
1, 2 & 3 July - Chakra Analysis / Chakra interventions.
31 July - Consolidation (tutorials). Business skills.
During week commencing 12 September - 3 Clinical practice days. Delivering yoga therapy for differing needs 2. Using aspects of Ayurveda as a tool for yoga therapy assessment 2.
During week commencing 24 October - 3 Clinical practice days. Delivering yoga therapy for differing needs 3. Using aspects of Ayurveda as a tool for yoga therapy assessment 3.
26 & 27 November - Relaxation / Meditation & Pranayama as a therapy 2.
11 December - Consolidation (tutorials).

11 & 12 February - Working with Pathologies.
25 & 26 March - Working with Pathologies.
13 & 14 May - Practical assessments.
17 & 18 June - Practical Assessments.



A deposit of £720 is required to secure your place on the Course.

Course consists of 41 days training at a cost of £3,825.

DPN members tuition fees cost £3,347.

The regular payments are managed by (the payment processor) and set up using your debit/credit card.  Alternative arrangements can also be discussed.
