Journey to the Heart Centre Workshop: Aberdeenshire (Try Out)
The heart is the place where we love, we feel our emotions and it often guides our intuition. By connecting with the heart, releasing any blockages, we can aim to live a blissful, happy and healthy life.
Come and find out if the Dru Yoga teacher training course is for you while enjoying a nurturing session of Dru Yoga.
This workshop can be experienced as a stand alone class or as a taster for our upcoming teacher training course starting 30th April 2023.
Dru offers sequences known as Energy Block Release, around ten which have been developed over the years, each with a different focus. These sequences are one of the key things which make Dru unique from other styles of yoga. Though the EBR sequences may look 'easy' to the naked eye, it's precisely due to this simplicity and gentleness that they are so effective in releasing stresses and blockages from the body. Your body needs to feel safe in order to relax. In this themed try out you'll experience why, when releasing blockages in whatever form in which they are stored, the saying 'LESS IS MORE' couldn't be more appropriate.
If you would prefer an in-depth exploration and personal attention then look no further.
This workshop is all about YOU!
These enjoyable and fascinating Try Outs and workshops are the ideal introduction to all aspects of Dru Yoga and the course. We deliberately keep the numbers very low so you can get that 1-to-1 tailored experience with our senior teacher trainers.

I am just working on the spine assignment. Apart from really enjoying all the research and information, I had to smile, because whilst writing about the spine and common back problems I have discomfort in my back (chronic) and sitting in one position, not as relaxed as I would like, is aggravating it. I have been taking frequent breaks, doing the Dru stretches, tri spinal release, marjariasana, bringing my knees up and rocking my spine which I love, standing forward bend and squats and when I finish studying each day I do a long relaxation. I have been drinking lots of water as well. I love the fact I have the tools from the Dru to help myself and have the chance to put it all into practice. It's all made such a difference to my back, neck and rest of my body. From a happy yoga student!

Both workshops complemented each other well and were relaxing, inspiring, friendly, open and enjoyable!
