The spine is a living structure that supports our whole nervous system. Therefore it's absolutely crucial to keep it healthy and moving in an optimum way. This affects the well being of your whole body as well as your energy levels.
From a yogic point of view, all the main energy centres (chakras) are seated along the spine. These centres reflect different areas of our consciousness, thus the condition of our spine can have a huge influence on the way we feel and think. This affects how we relate to life!
So it's worth spending a little time to nurture our "backbone" which holds us upright and supports us in everything we do.
