In this session, created for you by two of Dru Yoga's most experienced founder tutors and narrated by Anouschka Dackyou will be using every movement and breath to focus on the qualities and resources needed to achieve your dreams. 

This class will include the following:

  • Activations
  • Energy Block Release 3 (Awakening the Heart)
  • Tree posture
  • Salutation to the Four Directions
  • Relaxation

The Activations - includes a general medley of twists, arm raises and full body tapping to loosen up the whole body and to energise and activate every part of you.

EBR 3 - includes the windmill scoop, the mirror twist, the anahata breath, ocean waves, heaven and earth stretch, the archer, a forward bend, the runner and the thunderbolt.  Follow Andrew as he executes the movements in a flowing and graceful manner. Set in a stunning location in Australia, enjoy the vista and listen carefully. With every breath and with every move you are guided and encouraged to reach for your dreams and to visualise success in your life.

The Tree - as you join Andrew in performing this posture, make sure you find the balance that is comfortable for you. Two versions are offered: the simple and the more advanced in this unique Dru version of the Tree posture which has been formulated to help add focus to your life, and inspiring you to fulfill your life dreams and goals.

The Four Directions - John Jones invites you to join him as he performs this flowing sequence along side the crashing waves of this stunning beach location in Australia.  Once again, as you reach out with your arms in each of the four directions, remember to claim your dreams for yourself. Add vibrancy and vitality to your aspirations and hope for the future with each breath you take. 

Relaxation - This Design Your Destiny class finishes with a deep relaxation, and a final call to experience that wonderful sense of satisfaction and completeness of having already achieved your dreams. Lie down and remind yourself that you are already a wonderful person who has achieved so much, feel proud and satisfied as you lie back and enjoy this relaxation!

Finally, what is an Energy Block Release sequence (EBR)?
In Dru Yoga, postures and individual movements are combined to create a dance like flow of movements that become a symphony we call an Energy Block Release sequence. Intertwined into these movements are visualisations, mudras and power statements that enhance and empower the over all experience of the student, helping us to dissolve and release any energy that has become stagnated or stuck. They are sequences that work on all levels, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Thanks Fellas! And Of course Anouschka, In my local class west coast of Scotland I have practiced elements of this sequence with Karen. I really like the above 'Design your Destiny' title it's empowering in itself, I am sure the title is not by fluke but by 'design' nice touch. Why do I like this so much, it pays homage too all the chakras in me all the Koshas which make up ME its not overcomplicated, or over strenuous, it's therapeutic. Very nice hearing Anouschka narrate. It Ticked all the boxes for my needs I learn develop and assess by watching, looking,listening then demonstration/ doing. In my professional life we learned in this way, we had mentorship, guides and challenges along the way moulding, supporting adaptability but sometimes resistance to changes, orginational or in the individual client and staff. Like a lot of professions but becasue as Nurses, Phlebotomists, all workers within our NHS ( I mentioned phlebotomists because Blood is taken from someone a living flowing fluid, trust and consent has to gained,day in day out.....its the taking not the giving if that makes sense like the circle of LIFE lots of PEOPLE COME TOGETHER one job couldn't be done without the other. LIKE this Dru Sequence and many others........I agree with tutors so far sharing and in person small amounts do even 15 minutes, build up rest when need start again.. in order to GIVE/FLOW flexibility comes in establish habits abd practices. In Health Care / healing we get close and personal with individuals a privlidge and a vocation we are grateful(I speak for My former Profression).This interaction causes our spiritual, physical and emotional levels to flucutate mindful movement and meditation is most helpful in keeping us steady. Embedding these practices before we get unsteady or off the rails that's the key. Thanks Dru your encouraging and caring. You are truly world wide. I hope you manage to get more of YOU Demonstrating Dru, I have read the background of each Tutor I feel from what I have seen so far in a short time they all have the same GOALS they align to the Mission of Dru....which is ' transform the world by giving people the tools to transform THEMSELVES' in my humble opinion that's exactly what's coming across on line, I am lucky to have access to Dru On line an affordable 10 pounds for me monthly by DD once the trial is over and I am delighted I can go to a class locally each week combined in my leisure centre membership. Happy Easter 2023 everyone. I am letting Dru sequences settle now for weekend and will take up again next week and go with the FLOW. Martina Lindsay For anyone out there I want you to know I have had 2 back surgeries, rehabilitation was slow but steady I set the intention, time aside then attention for a period of time I claimed back better quality of life. A mixture of Tai chi initially then Yoga ( Dru/ Vinaysna style) Aqua Fit LOW impact, Mindfulness classes in Ayrshire, learnt about activity cycling and most of all being kind and compassionate to my self. Do DRU it's really Good for YOU. Get your Head and Heart in the right space first; trauma takes time then little steps Dru Yoga/ Meditation great grounding for achieving that quality of life. I have just returned to this class after weekend 12 of DYTT and found the combination of EBR3, Salutations to 4 Directions plus Flowing Tree allowed space to be created within me and a sense of slowing down and giving reverence to our own selves in partnership with nature enables a very powerful and reassuring/calming class.
