Nurture yourself with this wonderful 30 minute deep relaxation, as Anouschka leads you through the key elements of yogic relaxation:
 

  • Lying on the floor, making yourself comfortable and adjusting your body as needed to help you settle
  • Focusing on your breath to help you let go of physical and emotional tension, whilst stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system
  • Tensing and relaxing the body to help you settle deeper
  • Relaxing into the moment
  • Using visualisation to experience a deeper feeling of calm, peace and tranquillity
  • Experiencing the benefits of affirmation: ‘I am peaceful, calm and relaxed’
  • Completing your relaxation feeling peaceful, yet energised
     

This relaxation is suitable as part of your yoga practice or when you have 30 minutes to spare and want to spend quality time nurturing yourself.
