Revision of bandhas and the Uddiyana bandha

Nanna reviews the three bandhas; Moola bandha, Jalandhara bandha and Uddiyana bandha and shows how to put them together as sequence, to harness and direct energy.
Uddiyana means ‘flying up’ which describes the movement of the abdomen- up and back towards the spine The bandha should only be performed during the external retention phase of the breath .
Cautions and contra-indications It is an advanced practised and should not be introduced to beginners. Avoid if you have high blood pressure., stomach ailments, intestinal ulcer, diaphragmatic hernia or glaucoma. Also do not practise during pregnancy.
