Yoga for Vata Pitta and Kapha
Join Annie for this class in which she introduces us to the 3 doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha and connects the sciences of Ayurveda and Yoga. This session gives us 3 movement sequences to use in our everyday life to attune with our doshas and bring them into balance.
The first series of movements focuses on Vata, using Prithvi Namaskara, the Earth sequence, to pacify and ground a Vata constitution. The second section focuses on Pitta and how to nourish, replenish, calm and cool down with Chandra Namaskara, the Moon sequence.
Finally, we address Kapha and how you can use Surya Namaskara, the Sun sequence to fill you with vitality, total health and rejuvenation!
