  • You’ll qualify as a 200-hour yoga teacher, registered with Yoga Alliance International.
  • Our teachers work in a variety of settings including yoga studios, gyms, workplaces, schools and the NHS, teaching people of all ages and abilities.
  • Post graduate career development opportunities include courses in Advanced Yoga & Meditation; Prenatal Yoga, Kids & Teens, Back Care, Wellbeing and Yoga Therapy.

  • As a Dru Yoga teacher you’ll be helping people to reduce stress, improve back pain, prevent injuries and transform negative thinking and disempowering emotions.

The Course Structure

Your journey to becoming a yoga teacher

  • The design and content of this course include online learning, in-person teaching and personal practice.
  • Study over 15 months so you can fit the course around your work and home life
  • 10 online training days taught by experienced yoga teacher trainers
  • 9 in-person training days - which can be undertaken online
  • Weekly self-guided online video training sessions.
  • Detailed training manuals are available on the learning hub
  • Free access to the online Dru Yoga studio
  • Start with the Foundation Course (the first 6 days) then you have the option to continue with the full Teacher Training Course

What you will learn

  • 32 Asanas (postures)
  • 7 Flowing Dru Yoga Sequences.
  • Meditation practices.
  • Relaxation techniques.
  • Pranayama techniques.
  • How to adapt postures and sequences for specific health conditions.

You will also gain an understanding of:

  • Basic anatomy & physiology for yoga teachers.
  • The subtle energetics of Dru Yoga.
  • Yoga philosophy.

Try Outs are all about YOU! These enjoyable and fascinating sessions offer the ideal introduction to all aspects of Dru Yoga and the course. We keep the numbers small so you can get that 1-to-1 tailored experience with one of our teacher trainers.

These highly interactive Dru Yoga and Q&As will give you a great overview. Ask questions, meet like-minded people and get a real feel for the course. 

Choose from joining a Dru Yoga Class followed by a Q&A, a Try Out or an Introductory workshop. We also offer face-to-face and online options.
