1-day introductory exploration of permaculture philosophy and application. Everyone is welcome.

Join Susan Kulas and the Dru Team in partnership with Ben Stopford of Conscious Roots (https://www.consciousroots.co.uk/) for this 1-day introductory exploration of permaculture philosophy and application.

If you want to learn to grow food in any space, turn a lawn into an edible paradise and become able to apply beautiful and simple natural philosophies into your life, this is for you.

Everyone is welcome. Lunch, tea and a selection of seeds for growing vegetables to take home are all included in the price.

Here is the preliminary schedule for the day:

10-11: What is permaculture?

11-1: Exploring ecosystems and ecological living

1-2: Lunch

2-3: Creating edible landscapes from scratch (permanent systems)

3-4: Growing methods, seed sharing and saving.

4 - 4.30: Thoughts, tea and end by 16:30

"So many of us are experiencing an accelerated life where so much is happening we can feel as if we are constantly running to keep up with ourselves and our own lives. This workshop is an antidote to this experience. The urgency of these times is paradoxical. It requires us to slow down, to listen deeply to our own heart and mind and to the people around us and the earth, to listen deeply to know what we need to do for our next step, and to keep taking one step at a time to find our way back to balance."    Susan Kulas

If you are a member of the Dru Professional Network you will be able to accrue 6 CPD hours for attendance at this event. Attendees from other yoga schools will need to check individually for their own CPD credits.

What is permaculture and how does it work?

This makes permaculture a unique toolkit that is used to design regenerative systems at all scales - from home and garden to community, farms and bioregions around the world. The word permaculture is originally from ' perma nent agri culture ,' then ' perma nent culture '.
