Travel

The retreat venue is Sacred Hearth Sanctuary, 19 Newells Rd Main Arm NSW 2492. It's 20 mins off the Pacific Highway inland from Ocean Shores, and an easy 2.5 hour drive from Brisbane, or 50 mins from Coolangatta.

If flying we'd recommend booking flights to Coolangatta.

There are regular airport shuttles from Coolangatta Airport to Byron Bay—which stop off at towns along the way.

You could perhaps try booking through:  Byron Bay Transfers  or  Ocean Shores Airport Transfers

If you can get yourself to Ocean Shores (which is normally 35 mins if driving from Coolangatta Airport but could be longer if a number of dropoffs) we can arrange to pick you up from there.

Do contact us if you have any questions about travel.

I’m a yoga / meditation beginner... Is that OK?

Absolutely yes! All of our retreats are suitable for beginners as well as for experienced yoga and meditation practitioners.

I’m not flexible. Can I do Dru Yoga?

Dru is for everyone and you’ll be surprised how quickly your body becomes more flexible when you practise regularly. Always listen to your body and don’t overstretch or strain.

Food

We'll provide breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the three days. Food on the retreat will be wholesome, nourishing, vegetarian and prepared with Ayurvedic principles in mind.  Please let us know asap if you prefer meals that are gluten free, dairy free or sugar free.

It's also important that we know of any severe food intolerances you may have.

Do we need to bring any food?

>All your meals and snacks will be provided.  However you are welcome to bring anything you wish.

Can I talk to someone about my dietary/allergy requirements?

Yes absolutely.  You can contact Joanne Hayley on 0411 047 958 and chat to her about them.

There is a corner store a few minutes away from the venue for any additional snacks you might like!
